Travelling to La Gomera
Casa Felipe is in the Laguna area of Playa de Santiago, on the south coast of La Gomera. It is only 40 minutes by car from San Sebastian, or 15 minutes by sea-cat (Garajonay Express). Santiago has a small airport, only a couple of minutes drive from the house.
To get to the island you can either fly to Tenerife South (www.ba.com) gives excellent prices for scheduled flights, try also www.iberia.com) and transfer to Gomera by ferry, large fast-cat to San Sebastian, or by small sea-cat (Garajonay Express) that stops at the port of Playa de Santiago, just 10 minutes walk from the house.

Alternatively, you can also fly to Tenerife North for a following flight (35mins) into Gomera airport. If arriving via Gomera airport, the house is only a few minutes taxi ride (cars can be hired from the airport and in the town). Flight times are 4hrs from London Gatwick to Tenerife South/North.

If arriving by sea via the port of Los Cristianos, Tenerife (25mins from Tenerife South airport) and San Sebastian, you can either hire a car, or take a taxi to Playa de Santiago (approx. 40 mins). The fast-cat crosses in 30mins, the ferry in 75mins. The former is fast and efficient and well worth the experience but the latter provides the opportunity to watch dolphins and other cetaceans and birds.
However, the easiest option is to get the small sea-cat, the Garajonay Express, which stops at San Sebastian before continuing to Playa de Santiago and onward to Valle Gran Rey. The Garajonay Express also provides a cheap and convenient service for travelling between the three towns on the south coast.
